Humidistat Removal Recommendations

Your Board of Directors has done some research to provide you with a recommendation on humidity control in your unit. Please see "Humidistat Removal" letter in the "Forms" setion of this site for important information on the potential problems with humidisat usage, and the optimal thermostat settings for your unit while you are away.

The Importance of Using Licensed, Insured Contractors

The Gulfside Place Condominium Documents and our insurance carrier, as well as City of Sanibel Regulations stipulate that all work that is done on our property must be done by licensed and insured contractors, and that permits must be obtained from the City when required. This would include any work considered a "trade" by the City of Sanibel, such as electrical, plumbing, painting and drywall work.

A letter was distributed explaining the need for compliance in this important area, and it can be viewed by clicking on the "Licensed/Insured Contractors" letter on the "Forms" section of this site.

For a list of approved contrators and skilled tradesmen that are licensed to perform such work on Sanibel, please visit the City of Sanibel's website at http://www.mysanibel.com/Departments/Building/Licensed-Contractors.

Parking Lottery Results - April

The Parking Lottery Results are in for the month of April and can be found here in the "Forms" section. This will be the last month of the parking lottery. It will resume next year, as usual, for the months of January through April.

NEW 2012 GULFSIDE PLACE DIRECTORIES!

As you may or may not know, changes in legislation regarding the release of owners personal contact information had delayed the Gulfside Directories from being released this past year. We are happy to announce that after much diligence, the Gulfside Place 2012 Directories have been published and will be made available to you at the Annual Meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, feel free to stop in the office any time after February 14th. and pick one up!

PLEASE NOTE: If your directory information appears incomplete or incorrect, please contact Nicolle at the office. We publish the directories in-house, therefore I can make the necessary changes and insure that all future copies that are printed have your correct information. There are some owners who never turned in directory information. If your information is missing and you would like to have it included in future publications, please contact me at the office and I will make sure you have the necessary forms filled out to be included in the directory. Thank you.

Annual Cocktail Party

The Gulfside Place Annual Cocktail Party will be held on Monday, February 13th. 6:00 PM in the Clubhouse. This event will be catered again by Leslie with entertainment by Sam Felker. We look forward to seeing you there!
